20 main employers deprived of the CAECE represent a total of 14 462 jobs in 2009, that is approximately 23 % of all the jobs of the conglomeration. Among these establishments, we notice a majority of companies of services (distribution, hotel business restoration, banking services) among which several important head offices (CARREFOUR, ACCOR, SOFINCO). But the industry is also well represented, in particular the high-technology industry with the aeronautical sector (SNECMA, ARIANESPACE, COMPOSITE INDUSTRY).
